#ParaSaBayan Dream Coming True

Now, it’s real.

Few months ago, while doing a research work in Baguio, I have received a call asking me if I want to be a part of the LGU Team of Binalonan. In that very moment, I knew that I am going home.

In the hidden roads of Binalonan, people can find many competitive schools, each giving quality education to the elementary, high school, and college students. Among these are my alma maters – San Felipe Elementary School and Juan G. Macaraeg National High School. Throughout my primary and secondary schooling, I have experienced numerous academic contests, campings, and events recognizing the historical and cultural significance of our town. In these ways, our teachers made us accomplished, skilled and patriotic – qualities that I will forever owe to our university town, Binalonan.

Furthermore, I was given the opportunity to study in one of the premiere universities in our country, which is the University of the Philippines-Baguio. In my college years, we were taught of many theories, concepts, and innumerable facts. For all that, our professors always say that it is vital to apply these theories in reality by serving the country and its people. The path of attaining success however was not smooth. There were challenges that came before we were able to wear proudly our “sablay”. The struggle is real, but it’s now worth it.
Today, I am now joining a team that holds one big goal: to serve and improve Binalonan. With this humble town that have been producing competent and morally responsible individuals, it is an honor to give back. I’ve always been wondering what our town can do for us. But now I’m asking myself what I can do for it and I encourage everyone to do the same. By sharing our knowledge that we have acquired through many years of learning, we can truly contribute in the further developments of our hometown.
